I would say that the Sand Dunes is one of the most magical places. To be surrounded by sand at sunset and see the mountains on one side - the moon rising. Everything seems right in the world. So when a couple is down for the drive - we can’t wait to explore the National Park with them. Whitney and Tyler’s love was super easy to capture and we had to best time romping around the dunes.

Bryan + Lauren | Santa Barbara
Bryan and Lauren drove up with their closest friends and family to Santa Barbara from L.A. to celebrate their love. If you have been to Santa Barbara you know it is a magical place and even more magical at the Dos Pueblos Orchid Farm. They had their first look in a green house amongst a few goats and chickens before heading out to say their vows on the cliffs where you could smell the ocean.

How to prepare for your Maternity Session!
First of all - CONGRATULATIONS! There is so much to prepare for when having a baby and the last thing you want is another list of things to do. So know if this feels overwhelming, just skip on ahead to number 8 - just showing up. You do not need the perfect outfit or backdrop - you just need to be you.

Engagement Session in Telluride
This “session” had some advantages in the fact that we got to spend a whole day together. If I could do this every couple I would.
Session at the Sand Dunes with Nabilla and Alex
Nabilla and Alex had never been to the Sand Dunes which was super exciting for me. To be with someone when they experience this place for the first time is like Christmas morning - I can’t think of how to describe it. When you are in the middle of the dunes surrounded by sand and amazing views there is nothing wrong with the world. There is no pandemic or injustice or wild fires. Just sand. Ha. At least this is how I feel. It is magical.
Elopement at Big Sur
Rebecca and Luke had dreamed of Big Sur for their elopement location and made a whole week of exploring the California coast line. I was fortunate to get to tag along for photo with We are Matt and Jess!
Kana + Jake Engaged in Denver
OHHHH and a surprise to all of us (except Jake of course) - they got engaged at dinner! WHAAA! Kana texted that they were running a few min late bc (see photo below). A fun couples session just turned into an engagement session - and let me tell you the “just got engaged” look - looks pretty damn good on these two.
Proposal + Pizza
Marissa’s friends were putting together a small going away party but little did she know it would also be an engagement party! Maurice specifically wanted to propose in front of Union Station as that was their first date.
