Wedding at Red Rocks Trading Post

Jakke and Whitney's wedding was one of the most fun, free-spirited weddings I have shot. Adult flower women danced down the aisle barefoot to the sound of Lauren Hill and the smell of sage smudges sticks. When I first arrived I found Jakke meditating quietly in a forest area while Whitney was relaxed and already greeting friends and family. Not only did they pick an awesome venue for the Ceremony (hello, Red Rocks) but their reception was equally as cool. It is a place called The Growhaus - which is a nonprofit indoor farm in north Denver dedicated to food production, food education and food distribution. They served meats and cheese, followed by gourmet tacos and the cutest "veggie" cake pops for dessert! Thanks for letting me capture your day Jakke and Whit!
