Denver Luxury Wedding Photographer | Emily + Alex

This wedding was one for the books. Literally. It had a little bit of everything and will make such a beautiful album to pass down for generations. This collection of photos tells a love story. Not just between the bride and groom (of course they are the highlight of the story) but also of their family and friends who stood by their side in loving support as they ushered Emily and Alex into the next wonderful stage of their lives.

 Pressing Pause

Photography allows us to take the moments from the day that probably went by in happy blur, pull them back out one by one, and take in all of the details that made the occasion so magical. My greatest pleasure as a photographer is being able to give the gift of treasured memories to families and couples. They can relive the day whenever they want!

Emily and Alex are such a fun couple to be around, and they took me on a grand adventure as we went from the new, super hip Maven Hotel in downtown Denver (the perfect location for a first look), to Lost Gulch Lookout, climbing over boulders for an incredible view of the Colorado sky. The mountains majestically spanned across the background for spectacular backdrop. But nothing could compare to how beautiful Emily looked in her wedding gown. The sheer back with lace keyholes looked stunning on her. And it was easy to see that Alex couldn’t be more enamored by his radiant bride.

After a little bit of hiking, we headed back for their intimate ceremony at Chautauqua, followed by a big celebration at Bigsby Folly, a fun new wine bar. I loved capturing the fun chemistry between these two. They both have a hilarious sense of humor that kept me laughing the whole time. She even adorably quoted Taylor Swift in her vows. I wish Emily and Alex the best happily ever after—here’s to many years of laughter!
